Founder & Managing Attorney
Richard Guzman is a Southern California personal injury attorney dedicated to representing individuals and families who have been injured due to negligence. Before establishing his own practice, Richard honed his litigation skills at some of the most recognized personal injury firms in California, including Sweet James and The Dominguez Firm. There, he handled complex motor vehicle accident and premises liability cases, gaining firsthand experience in high-volume, high-stakes litigation against major insurance carriers.
Born in Pasadena and raised in East Los Angeles, Richard maintains deep roots in the communities he serves. His commitment to advocacy began early while volunteering at the Domestic Abuse Self-Help Center (DASH) at the Pomona Courthouse, where he assisted victims seeking restraining orders. That experience solidified his belief that effective legal representation can profoundly change lives.
Richard earned his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with an emphasis on Law and Society from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and his Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles. His academic background sharpened his analytical skills and informs his strategic approach to litigation today.
He is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA) and the State Bar of California.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Richard is committed to ensuring that clients fully understand their rights and feel confident throughout every stage of the legal process.
